Dilatazione is a project born in Italy in 1999 like a trio of instrumental, cinephile rock. From the beginning they have been integrating their live concerts with a video show. In three years Dilatazione played one hundred concerts cross Italy. In 2002 their third demo, Fotogrammi, got good reviews on italian newspapers and specialistic fanzine (like Blow up, Rockit, Sodapop, Movimenta...). In 2003 a new guitarist joined the group, collaborating to the composition of new songs. Dilatazione's new album, "Too emotional for maths" was recorded and mixed in september 2005 at Alpha Dept Studio in Bologna by Amaury Cambuzat (Ulan Bator/ Faust) and Francesco Donadello (Giardini di Miro'). Alessio Gioffredi is the new drummer of Ulan Bator.
